Short Summer for Me!!

Hey Kids!! Dionysus here, but you can call me Nys for short. I also go by D-Nys when I’m chillin’. I was just surfing around on the computer when I stumbled upon this Blogger thing. I noticed there are some serious hotties on here and was thinking… I LOVE hotties! Also, I was wondering what would help the new semester go by quickly. Well, after a few minutes I figured, maybe my own blog? Yeah, that’s right, whether I’ve seen you out at a club or will never see you f2f, this is the place. You NEED to stop in and keep up.

Let me start my blog by letting you know what I’ve been up to for the last few months. I reluctantly got off the snowboard in late May and finished out the semester. ASAP, I hopped a plane to the beach. South Beach, Florida. Man, the views there are sweeeeet (The ocean and the ladies)!!! Eventually I left the bars and headed down to the Keys with a longboard to see the ocean from a shark’s perspective. I started thinking that Poseidon doesn’t have such a bad job! I was able to make it out alive and was wishing I could stay longer by the end of the week.

Back at my pad in CO I kept a job working with mere mortals. It was okay, but I’m getting ready for graduation. In between work and women I found some time for the 14ers. No, it’s not a football team without money, it’s the 14,000 foot peaks here in Colorado. They take a lot of training and concentration but it keeps the legs strong for the winter and all the pow that will be laid down in a few months.

Yes, my first love….snowboarding. That’s right, in the winter you can find me pulling first tracks in the bowl and then hittin’ the pipe before I grind down a rail to the lodge. Sweet! So if you’ll be somewhere off I-70 or in the backcountry, stop here to find out where the powpow is and what to do before the snow comes.

Anyways- back to me. My usual hangouts include The Hill and Pearl Street. You can find me there soaking up some great local music. The next semester is my first as a sophomore at CU Boulder. Summer’s been kinda lonely without the bros in town. They know who they are, but I’m sure they’ll be back before I get around to posting this. So that’s all I can think of right now. Don’t worry though, I will be back often and now you know where to find D-Nys and hook up with some of the 411 about CU, boarding, and great tunes! Oh, and don’t be afraid to comment on my blog. I will honor yours with a comment if you do (and might honor you with more than a comment if you’re a smokin’ female). See ya’ll.

What, you are a rapper now? D-Nys LOL. I should start having people call myself Poppa Z or De Z and then I might be as cool as you. Just giving you a hard time, D-Nys (chuckle, chuckle). Anyway you are right on the mark about Pearl Street, there are some killer bands that play down there.

What, you went to the Keys? Oh why didn’t you tell me? I love that place! The more I ponder about my summer, the more I think I should have done something else. I love the sea, especially where it’s tropical, it totally rejuvenates me. I am foam-born you know. Give me a call sometime or give me itinerary ideas next time before a vacation. Since he kinda held back on wine, our dear D-Nys got a lot more ingenious… :)
